Would agree with a lot of those, although I've probably not been to as many.
Best I've been to/seen there (in no particular order): Blyth Spartans, Tow Law, Ryton + Crawcrook, Whickham (best food), Esh Winning.
Chester-le-Street, Seaham, and West Auckland aren't bad either and the latter has the history. Splodge describes Crook as 'ground porn' but unfortunately it was waterlogged for my planned visit a couple of weeks ago, so I couldn't get to see it.
Billingham Synthonia is also really good, but it's not in use at the moment.
Carlisle City is in the Northern League, and is worth visiting (food good too) but of course it's not in the North East!
