Wolves have announced that a memorial service to celebrate the life and contribution to the club made by John ĎFozí Hendley will take place at St. Peterís Collegiate Church, at 1p.m., on Thursday, February 8th.
Re: [Climate Change] John 'Foz' Hendley (Wolves supporter )
Lifelong Wolves fan Foz, a long serving employee who officially worked for the club in the media department for almost 20 years, but unofficially for many years previously, sadly passed away at the age of 67 at the start of the year.
The club, and Fozís family, have been inundated with tributes and good wishes following his passing, and now the wider community will be able to pay their respects and celebrate his life at the memorial service.
Foz had many interests, not only Wolves and football, but many other sports, and also folk music, steam trains and memorabilia, to name just a few.
Friends and former colleagues from all of those spheres of his life will be welcome to join Fozís family at the service, which will be led by the Rev. Prebendary David Wright, Rector of Wolverhampton and also Wolves' club chaplain.
A private cremation service will be held in the morning, with the cortege pausing outside Molineux on Fozís final journey at approximately 11a.m. or shortly after.
Any supporters wishing to make a donation in Fozís memory are asked to support the British Heart Foundation or Severn Valley Railway charity.
I don't need Google. I have a Hoddy.
