Notes for previous seasons

Prior to 2015–16, when matches are awarded to a team because of an infringement by the opposing team, the original result, i.e. W, D or L remains in the league's own table but goals scored and conceded are counted as zero. This website does not allow for this, however, the most important parts of the table for classification purposes (points and goals) are correct albeit the expense of numbers of games won/drawn/lost.

2016–17: Leyfield resigned after 7 games – results expunged.

2016–17: Warbreck Reserves resigned after 11 games – results expunged.

2016–17: BRNESC v Eli Lily match abandoned. Match declared void, no result.

2017–18: Copperas Hill resigned from the league.

2017–18: Netherley Wood Lane Legion resigned from the league after playing 15 games (all expunged).

2018–19: Quarry Bank Old Boys resigned from the league after playing 3 games (all expunged).

2018–19: Warbreck resigned from the league after playing 3 games (all expunged).

2019–20: MSB Woolton Reserves resigned after 9 matches. All results expunged.

2019–20: River Juniors resigned after 16 matches. All results expunged.

2019–20: The league took the decision to complete the season with this division sorted by points per game. As a result, Quarry Bank Old Boys rose to 1st and The Lute to 2nd, overtaking The Empress, who dropped to 3rd. Red Rum remained in 4th place. FC Bernie Mays rose to 5th and BRNESC to 6th, each overtaking Kirkby Town, who dropped to 7th. All teams finishing 8th and below remained in the same positions.
