Just received confirmation today that Bangor 1876 have not issued programmes for any of their home league games so far, so anyone wanting to do their Treborth ground this season and get a programme should attend their home tie against Ruthin Town in the next round of the Welsh Cup. There should be a programme for that game because they issued for their rather fortunate home victory over Penycae in the competition last Saturday. Please bear in mind though that the ground is very hard to find, being hidden away in the middle of a wood and is not signposted at all.
I think it is probably something to do with the fact that the new club was set up at very short notice and probably did not have enough time to find a volunteer to edit a programme. however, the person who I contacted by e-mail said that they hoped to be able to do a regular issue for league games at some point in the future. The issue I got on Saturday looked as though it had been 'outsourced' to an outside publisher. Apart from the front cover (which was good with a photo of Bangor 1876 players celebrating a goal in a previous home game) it looked as if it had been produced for a neutral venue. There was actually more information inside about visitors Penycae than there was about Bangor 1876.
