Martin Baker (Yeovil Town website - Ciderspace) Can't Post or Reply Privately

Tributes have flooded in following the death of Martin Baker, who ran the Yeovil Town website Ciderspace.

Yeovil Town said it was deeply saddened to hear that Mr. Baker had passed away on Saturday 12th October 2019 and added that Martin's work via the Ciderspace website and other projects has done so much over many years to promote and help the club.

This is very sad to hear.

Martin's 'Ciderspace' website has long been one of the very best independent football sites around, and I have long enjoyed reading what he has had to say about the on and off field trials of YTFC.

His coverage of the complicated on-off takeover bids of the past couple of years in particular have been importantly clear, articulate and understanding.

His writing was often both insightful and humorous, particularly in the guide to away grounds, helping to make the site so much more than the standard usually churned out in most club sites.

Here's hoping that the Ciderspace site continues in Martin's memory with its same highly enjoyable standards.
