Earsham Can't Post or Reply Privately

I have been reliably informed by their chairman that Earsham of the Ang Comb will issue a programme this Saturday v Poringland. I believe it may be being produced by one of our own on here...a chap who is very involved in said club.

Is this going to be the start of a regular issue or just a one-off? It's worth noting that Earsham have won all their seven league matches played so far this season.

Yes, it's me, haven't made a big fuss as its the Beds Hop and three new issuers available.

I want to see how it's received by the club on Saturday and go from there, this issue is 12 pages as cramned it full of information about all three sides.

Moving forward, I'd like to do a genetic outer cover and 4 page insert, if it gets to full on, i won't have time to keep it up so simple is best.

I am involved with the club so this is an official programme, with help from the manager and chairman, not just a hopper production.

If and when the next issue is done I'll advertise it alot more.

Many thanks for your posts. I apologise for not having attended the Earsham game - I would have liked to, but the promise of a one-off programme at Shenfield and the fact that the game there was on 3G (see my WDYG report) was enough to change my mind. Anyway I hope you will consider it worthwhile to issue for future games, even if you decide to wait until next season.

Programme sold out and still getting requests so will definitely do another. Gets harder with winter setting in, but our pitch does drain very well, even if we did have a game off in August. Need to see how the fixtures fall in with my hopping, but as i said, will give plenty of notice going forward. Ps our Sunday side is into round 3 of the Norfolk Sunday Junior Cup, so maybe opportunities there?

My copy of the first programme is excellent and a worthy addition to any collection. Keep up the good work.
