It's obviously far too early to make any meaningful predictions until October or so but I've done a mapping exercise purely based on teams who just finished outside of promotion places last season being promoted and teams finishing just above the relegation zone being relegated.

This was done mainly to see what sort of geography steps 4 to 6 will have next season

Thanks, that's interesting. I think that your "alternative step 4" is a little more likely than the first maybe?

The FA already confirmed a North/West/East line-up for next season.

Sorry to say, but I won't be doing a spreadsheet for next season. In truth, I have lost interest in it, not just doing the spreadsheet but with the football as well. I've not got the 'love for the game' all of you have on here.

I do have the spreadsheet and maps ready as well, but knowing the time and effort needed to update it every week isn't exciting me as it did previously.

I can pass them over via PM to anyone who wants to give it a go and have the template to work with.

I’m really sorry that you have decided not to do it anymore. We’ve shared so many messages over the years and I genuinely think that you’ve done a brilliant job. Over the years, I’ve contacted so many clubs up & down the country for the first time & they have mentioned the great work that you do. Thanks for all your hard work, I’ll miss you on here Rob.

That’s a real shame, often your maps were the only thing to make sense out of chaos.

Thank you for your amazing work.

Thanks for all your hard work Wazza. I lost my passion for NL football, (life and other people got in the way) but eventually just the odd game was enough to become addicted again

Sorry to read that Wazzafan - really enjoyed following your predictions. However, you need to do what you need to do. Many thanks for doing it in the past. Maybe you could just "prorogue" it until next March? Wink

:)

But maybe in 6/7 months he might feel differently. I'm sure can all wait a bit, it's a bit meaningless until well after Christmas, anyway.
