Limerick 3 Longford Town 1
Airtricity Irish League Division 1
Admission 12 Euro Programme 4 Euro

Last went to Limerick 11 years ago when they played at Jackman Park. They moved to Market Field in 2015, 31 years after last playing there. Market Field has a large seated stand straddling the half way line on the entrance side with another seated stand behind the left side goal which housed the away fans. The far side has elevated grass banking, backed by a castle style wall (minus any turrets). The wall continues behind the other goal, which has uncovered flat standing. The game started at a frantic pace, Limerick taking the lead after 2 minutes. Longford equalised after 14 minutes, but 5 minutes later the hosts were in front again, and remained until half time. Longford came out with all guns blazing second half, but again Limerick scored early on. Longford thought they had pulled a goal back, only to have it ruled out for offside. Limerick defended well, and held on to win by 2 goals. This just leaves me with Cabinteely to visit to complete the top two Irish divisions.

Football seen in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Iceland, Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Lichenstein, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Italy Czech Republic, Ukraine, Gibraltar, Andorra, Luxembourg, San Marino, U.S.A., Canada, Portugal, and Slovakia.

Divisions completed: SW Peninsula League Premier Division West, Welsh Premier League, Welsh Championship South Division, Airtricity Irish Premier, Gibraltar Divisions 1 & 2

PSF
Larkfield Park
Chepstow Town 0 Undy Athletic 3
F&N Attendance: 150-ish

Warm and gloriously sunny evening with a 1830hrs kick off. Parked quite close; tidy ground on which evidently a lot of recent work has been completed. Access on 3 sides and a view to the East over the Severn Estuary and the old Bridge.
A good work out for both however Undy never looked like losing this. Much more powerful (3 steps between them in the Leagues) and better with and without the ball they should have won by more.
As it was 2 goals in the 1st half and an own goal in the 2nd were enough. Empty M4 home (as opposed to 2 hrs earlier).

PSF
Swindon Supermarine (0)0-(1)3 Swindon Town

Attendance approx: 1500
Entry 10 Adults, concessions 5, U12's FREE.

On duty for Supermarine.
Comfortable game for Town this, although we gave a good account of ourselves in both halves and with a little bit of luck, may have nicked a goal, although our keeper, Martin Horsell kept the score respectable.

We've made no changes to the ground over the summer, so it's all as you were for anybody planning a revisit this season.

Newtown 4 Llanidloes Town 0
Friendly
Admission : 3, no programme
Attendance : 160 (h/c) plus far more than that number taking part in a running event

Decent game this with some solid tackles at times. Four good finishes from the home side with Llani chances few and far between although they did try to play football when they had the ball. Just the one goal in the first half but Newtown's dominance grew as the game wore on and the result was never in doubt.

There was some sort of running event going on outside the ground and many of the athletes came into the ground to use the facilities so a good decision by the club to have the bar and cafe open.

No changes to the ground, still the same pleasantly eccentric mix of stands and viewing areas.
