Syngenta are ground sharing at Dunipace.

Linlithgow CSC are not allowed to play Scottish Junior Cup ties at their home ground (Xcite Linlithgow).

None of the 4 look to be great additions to the East Juniors - effectively three feeder / reserve clubs and one who were rejected by the East Seniors.

East Region AGM this coming midweek will determine the final league structure. If the clubs stick with their preferred model of two sub regions with two leagues in each they will probably lose their Scottish Cup place. Good chance they will revert to the current format of Super League and North / South divisions, which will infuriate the stronger Lothians clubs. In that event Pumpherston may refuse promotion for the second year running.

What's wrong with the sub-regional champions playing-off for the regional title?

Apparently the East of Scotland League's 3 Conference structure caused some consternation in high places but was accepted bytthe SFA as a one-off compromise in exceptional circumstances. Anyway, the eventual Champions gained an SFA licence in time so qualify for the Scottish Cup that way.
The line now is that the East of Scotland, South of Scotland, East, West and North Juniors should have a single division at the top of their structure to claim a Scottish Cup place for their Champions.

Have the rules been changed? The 2018-19 rules simply say "winners of each of the North, West and East Junior League Championships"

No idea if the Scottish Cup rules have been changed for 2019/20. They haven't been published yet.

I thibnk the Lowland League also had concerns about clubs being eligible for promotion - at the time the SJFA were putting forward the line that the East Juniors chamopion would be eligible for a promotion play off, if licensed. The LL wanted consistency from its feeder leagues.

That's a bit awkward! Somebody better break it to Auchinleck Talbot that it's Rutherglen Glencairn that have qualified for next season's William Hill Scottish Cup and not them! Crazy

Haven't Talbot qualified by having won the Junior Cup?

Northwood, Threave Rovers, Arsenal, Rangers (the real ones, NOT qpr),Watford, Rochdale, queen of the south and a few others.

I conveniently ignored that, as it otherwise spoiled the premise of my hilarious jest! Cool
