I am a Bury season ticket holder, well I was, I am not renewing until this maniac is ousted.
How he can accuse staff of trying to extort money from the club when they have been working for free, yet he paid £1 for the club and refused £150,000 to buy him out? He is a complete sociopath.

Are they still due back in court on June 19? I understood the adjournment was mainly on the basis that there was a possibility of the club finding a buyer by then but I don't know if or how things have progressed since then (...apart from the manager leaving and the owner upsetting even more people!)

Yes you are right. Court date is still set for June 19th. It was adjourned to allow the owner to sell the club as he said there was interested parties. All we know is that he has turned down one offer.
There is a lot of pressure on him from local press and MP’s but he doesn’t seem to care.
‘Forever Bury’ are a fans group which were formed in the early 2000’s during our financial difficulties back then. They have got a lot of momentum and support from Bury fans and lots of good will donations from other clubs, in particular Plymouth fans which we are ever so grateful for. They are in a good place and plan to make an offer (or have made an offer, will be clearer by tomorrow). The only problem if Forever Bury buy the club, they will put us into administration leading to a 12 point deduction etc. However I would much prefer this than having no club to support!

Frustrating silence in the days leading up to tomorrow's court hearing, though the owner says he is 'hopeful for a positive outcome'. This one's going right to the wire, it seems. They're case no 3 on the High Court's agenda, whose proceedings begin at 10.30am.

Case adjourned for another six weeks. Unclear why, although apparently HMRC did not oppose the adjournment, which suggests possible light at the end of the tunnel.

The club's pre-season preparations should be interesting.

Its scary times for us fans.

In my opinion, a 6 week adjournment is crazy. That will take us to 4/5 days before the first game of the season. Unless we get a new buyer pronto, what manager and player would sign for us knowing that they could then have to find someone else just before the season starts?
