A hard fought win as Caerwys closed down well and allowed no time on the ball but Henllan just had a bit more control. The opener was a shade fortunate as it went in from a blocked keeper clearance. The lead was doubled before half time and two early second half goals killed it as a contest.

The ground looked smart in the evening sunshine. Now roped through permanent wooden stakes down the sides. It has been railed at the end for some years with the opposite end leading to a grass bank with a further rail at the top. The tea bar is now incorporated into the changing room buildings with service through a hatch. Good to see a programme issued again. A decent twelve page effort. The club is ninety years old this season.

Post match saw a quick call in at The Llindir Inn. Heavy Industry Nelson's Eye was in fine form.
