Nairn St Ninian Ground Problem Can't Post or Reply Privately

Nairn had to move their McLeman Cup tie yesteday to Forres Thistle grounds. The North Junior FA have decided that The Showpark is not properly enclosed. Unclear whether they will only have to shift Cup ties to a barricaded ground. It suprised many people that they have been allowed to stage Super League games there this season because the ground has never been enclosed, yet Super League grounds are supposed to be. In the past some other clubs have spent a small fortune getting their ground fenced to comply weith Super league criteria - it was the death of Lossie United.

There was one of those temporary fences around the Showgirls for most of the season. Not sure why they've decided to remove it, possibly access rights. It's always been a sketchy venue, even by North Junior standards.
