Strange, there's probably many other Anglian Combination games "that don't need to be played" but will be on Saturday and through the rest of the season. I suspect there's a bit more to this than meets the eye, however for a team looking for promotion to a new level which will require more travelling and more games this seems at odds with that ambition to me.

Watford FC supporter hence the name also follow Hull FC but rarely get to see either these days.

Have now visited over 800 grounds, progress in recent years has been rather slow and will continue to be as things stand.

The first league meeting saw "reports relating to an incident that occurred between players and spectators at the Sheringham vs Wymondham Town fixture on Saturday, December 1" according to the Norfolk FA. Suspect this may have been the reason the return fixture was arranged for the end of the season so it could be quietly dropped and save the possibility of the county FA having to get involved.

Or could have been a game that Sheringham needed to win for promotion.

According to a post on another section of the forum, the NWC game between Abbey Hulton United and Wythenshawe Town has been postponed

"Due to a issue relating to the legal entity status of Wythenshawe Town which has been identified this week, tomorrow’s game at Abbey Hulton United has been cancelled.

Following consultation between the FA, Manchester County FA, the League Insurers and the club, the League Emergency Committee has no choice but to cancel the game.

Given this was the last game of the season, the game will not be played at a later date.

A decision on the outcome of the game will be made in due course.

The League will be making no further comment on this matter."

Sky Bet Championship

Bolton Wanderers v Brentford (3pm)

Bolton's game against Brentford on Saturday has been called off by the EFL after Wanderers' players said they will not play until they receive their unpaid wages.
