Pitch #2 is indeed directly in front of the main stadium, which you see first along the entrance driveway. Occasionally have been known to switch to the main ground at short notice, so Id check beforehand.

Re your proposed visit to RNAS Yeovilton;

The ground has a small seated stand inside a narrow athletics track. With that in mind, MOD Plod will probably be keen for visitors to have a pass or at least have your name on a list. Mind be an idea to phone one of the respective team secretaries, who could then add your name to one of the competitors lists. It being a neutral game the guys on the gate maybe more accommodating, but worth checking first.

Tim of this parish watched Milborne Port tonight and kindly asked their manager who assured him that I would receive a warm welcome. However as my previous visit to a military establishment was somewhat "interesting" (see WDYG November 5th 2011), I have messages AFC Huish for some feedback.

Tuesday
Welsh league division 3 Albion Rovers v Ely Rangers at 6.30 favourite. A relegation battle so probably not high quality on show. Also Haverfordwest a possibility but nothing at stake in their game & it's a long way to go but overnight in Pembrokeshire is always a pleasure.

Wednesday Well if I go to Haverfordwest then......

Welsh league division 2 on offer at Garden Village v Swansea Univ. 7.30 if not......
Welsh league division 3 at Treharris v Chepstow but another dead rubber

Thursday
Welsh league division 3. Penydarren v Treowen Stars 6.30

Must have a think if I want to combine the 3 games with something at stake & try to take a 2-3 day break given that it is still easter week prices. There are later date options for both Albion & Penydarren.

Hoping to get to the East Lancs League Div 1 on Wednesday

Burnley United v Mill Hill KO 7pm

Mill Hill are top with a 100% record 22-0-0
Burnley United are 2nd with just 1 defeat 15-5-1

A win for Burnley United won't quite secure 2nd place but will be very close.

Mill Hill are already champions and they are now going for a clean sweep 100% record - this is their penultimate game of the season.

Got the week off work so potential for earlier 'escapes' & the possibility of extra games:

Tue - fairly big choice and still a few in the 'proper bit' of the pyramid .. pondering the long ago visited

HELL1W Pewsey Vale v Malmesbury Vics

...or possibly more 'silly season' stuff in the OSL with decent enough fare on offer at some 18:30 KOs

Freeland v Charlton Utd or
Heyford Ath v Launton

Wed: bonus night liver-damage on offer Tongue but not before:

SCIL(W) Lightwater v Windlesham (18:30 KO) - dashing back to 'ding and the club for the 2nd half of the Manc's derby Cool

Thu: either

WESS1 T&E v AFC Stoneham - visitors only need a point to pinch the title from Amesbury.

...or SCIL(W) Premier Challenge Cup Final at Westfield FC (Surrey) 19:30 KO

Lyne Seniors v Milford and Witley

Oh, good - it's a Tuesday-Friday thread so I'm not late as I'd feared!

Current plans are:

Tuesday - Walsham-le-Willows Reserves v Stowmarket Town Reserves (Suffolk Senior Reserves Cup Final at Ram Meadow, Bury St Edmunds, 19:45)

Wednesday - Heacham v Swaffham Town Reserves (Anglian Combination Div.3, 18:30)

Thursday - Bury Town U18 v Cornard United U18 (Eastern Counties Youth League South Div., 19:45)

Friday - a choice of cup finals:
(a) Firside v Norman Wanderers (Stewart Dracup Cup, FDC Bowthorpe, 19:30)
(b) A veterans game (which may or may not be a cup final) at Diss Town
(c) Walsham-le-Willows A v St Edmunds (St Edmundsbury League Mick McNeil Cup, 19:30 at Walsham-le-Willows)

I suspect I'll go for the mystery of the "lucky dip" at Diss.

I've been told I should get out more. More?!

Do you realise that the Stewart Dracup Cup is an under 14 competition ?

Watford FC supporter hence the name also follow Hull FC but rarely get to see either these days.

Have now visited over 800 grounds, progress in recent years has been rather slow and will continue to be as things stand.
