Mascots in non-League Football Can't Post or Reply Privately

Was wondering how common it is for Clubs in non-League Footbal to have club mascots, only ones I am awarw of round here is H'angus The Monkey at Hartlepool and Mr Q at Darlington where I dress up and play the mascot role.

Do many other clubs from Step 1 down have mascots???

A couple that spring to mind are Nash at Curzon Ashton, and the Magpies at Chorley

Ilkeston Town have a robin wearing an Ilkeston Town kit.
A person wearing a costume, not an actual robin. Could you imagine how awesome that would be though?

At Northwood our chairman has a Woody "The Northwood Woodpecker" costume kicking about somewhere. With a Community Day coming up it may be a good time to dust it off.

Northwood, Threave Rovers, Arsenal, Rangers (the real ones, NOT qpr),Watford, Rochdale, queen of the south and a few others.

Kidderminster Harriers have Harry the Harrier! Lesser seen these days, mind you. Maybe once or twice a season? He used to walk round the side of the pitch before games throwing lollipops at children.

Maidenhead United have a magpie mascot with a rather scary face!

Dorchester Town have a mascot (sometimes) in a Bear costume called Dinky Bear. Poole have/had a Dolphin costumed mascot. Both Southern league Premier.

I think Southport are now on to the second version of Sandy the Lion. Between these two was Yellow Bird (who wouldn't have looked out of place on Sesame Street), who was last seen wandering into the bowels of an empty stand during a cup game at Leyton Orient.

Defunct (or should that be extinct?) mascots would include the Shaw Lane Duck.
