--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If this 15k is after tax, maybe you should look at dropping the admission fee to encourage extra punters, In the meantime, keep dreaming. It's nice that you care that much about the non league game but generally the best way to get more money in to a football club is by having a successful team.

The other thing to campaign for, in my opinion, is for much more money to filter down from the professional game, especially the Premier League, to the grass roots.

Unfortunately for every successful team there is an unsuccessful one. That is how League tables work.

I was thinking more of the social side. A couple of times a year, a group of supporters of any club nationwide meet up at a set venue. The purpose to help ressurect an ailling club financially and paint the town red whilst making new mates.

You're into the territory of flashmobs here...which I think was a thing a few years ago, but seems to have died out.

I've heard of something similar done when a hundred or so train fans turned up to use a service that normally only has a single carriage.

Not heard it done at sports events - apart from hopping w'ends - but if anything comes of it do keep us informed

You'll give Charlie Big Potatoes ideas of charging 15 for a non league match if you persist. You're not him, are you, boyo?

If you and the 999 others fancy a trip to the country's MOST EASTERLY town then you would be made more than welcome at Lowestoft Town FC......we already issue vouchers to travelling fans to be spent in the ground....fully funded by our supporters club.
An extension of this scheme incorporating your idea would be beneficial to the club in its current parlous financial condition.

As a club we are always looking for novel ideas to increase attendances.

PM me if you wish to discuss.

In 2012 or 13 I went on midweek jolly to Tavistock to watch leeds pre season. The club had suffered an arson attack not long before. The collection bucket overflowed with 10 and 20 pound notes. I seem to remember the gate was over 2000 and at some stage in the afternoon the chairman and someone else went to the local supermarket and filled there cars with cans of alcohol...Leeds get bad press but they did themselves proud that day. I would love to know how much they made from that one game...Does no one see a future for a nomad social barmy army.
