Steve Binks (Tunbridge Wells and Chatham Town) Can't Post or Reply Privately

Chatham Town are sorry to announce that Director of Football and Honorary President Steve Binks has died at the age of 71. He had been suffering from cancer.

Steve spent most of his playing career at Tunbridge Wells, but it was with Chatham Town that he was most associated.
Having initially got involved with the club as coach of one of the youth teams, he soon become involved with the senior team.
After an apprenticeship as assistant manager to Clive Walker, he took over as manager when Walker moved on to Dover Athletic,
and was to have four spells as first team manager over the next two decades.
He was also involved in various aspects of the club's administration, and latterly was Director of Football and Honorary President.
