If true then Ramshaw will not be far behind him.

Hardly left on the best of terms mate so a couple of us were thinking Abbott may return before Turner pulls the plug on him at Quorn but there again Abbo also went under a cloud.Sly

At Coventry on Saturday it was just like going back to the old days of United with doom gloom and despondency in the air. Some people want Abbott back whilst the majority don't and that has led to the resignations. One of the board members quitting is one thing but the Chairman going could have more serious implications as he is the chap that purchased everything around the stadium on Leicester Road including the 3G and if it's not sorted then AFC could end up with no training facilities. And here's me banging on about Boro for the same reason on a different thread!!

Hawkins gets through two managers in his first month as “chairman”. Ginnelly finally gets his dream job. No coincidence, I’m sure.

Nine managers in the last eight years and Ginnelly was touted for the job in the last five vacancies but the first time he was actually offered it he jumps ship from Barwell. He had a great relationship with the Chairman at Kirkby Road but had probably taken the club as far as he could. Good luck to him at Boro, I get the feeling he may need it!!

Could be another Simon Grayson/John Askey situation. leaving a club where he is well respected fr a club higher up but is a poison challis on a downward spiral only to be sacked a few month or even weeks later.
