Getting a programme printed from a PDF File Can't Post or Reply Privately

I was after a missing programme. The club have kindly sent me a pdf file of the programme.

However, I cannot print it out on my HP Printer.

What would it cost to get it printed at a printers. It would be just a one of copy of 36 pages?

Cheapest of the on line print houses that I can find quote 17 for a single copy. Most will not quote for fewer than 25 copies. Cheapest I can find for that is 57.
Both assume 36 A5 pages, cheapest non-gloss paper quality, saddle-stitched.

I really didn't realise printing was so expensive.

The type of machine required to do it costs around 80k new, or 40k refurbished.

Leasing costs around 1500 per month.

I always use Inky Little Fingers for printing. They will do one copy for 36. I would try and find someone who could print the pdf file for you at a fraction of the price.

I've used both Solopress and Mixam though once you add P&P on a local firm may be cheaper. Unfortunately the first copy is always the most expensive so you are unlikely to find a particular cheap printer for a single copy

To give you an example I am about to send a test print of something to a printer, 164 pages A4 and full colour. The test copy will be about 30 plus P&P. If all is well and my second print run is even a handful of copies that falls to about a tenner per copy, that's the way it is with all the printers I've used. Hope you can find the exception though.

I would have thought any colour printer attached to a computer will do it.
What I do is use any PDF file manager such as adobe - free for 30 days - and then print as a booklet

I am not an expert but seems to work ok
