I'm producing a commemorative programme for the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day (5 of our players died during WWI)
We have home games on 3rd and 17th November - which would you make the commemorative one?

The 3rd obviously whilst it is in everyones thoughts. After the 11th everyone forgets about it until next year.

I was originally thinking 17th November as that is a fraction closer to Armistace Day but Steve makes a very good point in that it might be forgotten after 11th November.

3rd November is probably your better shout.

You might also from a PR point of view generate some good publicity for the club prior to Armistace Day.
