Although Doctor Andrew “Minty” Miller did not make any first team appearances for Rangers he did lead the club to their only silverware in the 1950/51 season – the Daily Record footballers-golfers team championship. At seventeen years of age Andrew led a Rangers team made up of Billy Williamson, Willie Waddell, Willie Woodburn and Jack Lindsay. He also represented Scotland at golf.
