Does anyone know a website that lists results/dates for past FL matches? Thanks

Thanks. Was aware of RSSSF, although didn't know that link had results grid for some earlier seasons (ironically not for later ones!)

I'm also aware of the below, which has a lot of the fixtures on there, but you can't easily view them at once - have to pick selected dates:

The following book contains the results and dates for all Football League matches 1888-1979:

"Rothmans Book of Football League Records 1888-89 to 1978-79"
by Ian Laschke.

The publishers were Mac Donald and Jane's, London & Sydney. The copyright is from 1980, so it may be very difficult to get hold of the book today.

There is also www.statto.com, which recently got expanded. It now has full results with dates for Conference, FA Cup, League Cup, all minor cups (both English and Scottish) and European cups (just to list the competitions with English and Scottish participation).

I am looking for non-league results (other than Conference) prior to the 1989-90 season, preferably with dates. Also complete dates of FA Trophy and FA Vase (incl. qualifying rounds).

Re: I am looking for non-league results (other than Conference) prior to the 1989-90 season, preferably with dates. Also complete dates of FA Trophy and FA Vase (incl. qualifying rounds). I have many dates for the Northern Premier League games from its inception in 1968/69 up to the present time. I can get dates for the FA Trophy and FA Vase (incl. qualifying rounds) as listed in the various F.A. Year books. I have every F.A. Year Book ever published. I cannot guarantee that these rounds were played on the actual date as proposed. If you tell me which seasons you are interested in I can provide these.

Laschke book has a few errors, occasionally he gives day of newspaper report rather than date of match - Sunday reports are easiest to spot

It's not a website, but I have an Access database with all the Premiership and English Football League results with dates and venues - approx 173,000 records. I can run queries for you if you care to respond. I haven't added the 2007/08 season yet but should be able to do that this month.

(I just happened to get hold of the book in the 1st half of the 1980s).

It's not many but beware any "Sunday" matches (other than 1973-4)

There have been 2505 Football League games (including 943 Premiership) games played on a Sunday, played between Jan. 20th., 1974 and May 11th., 2008.

I was referring to the Laschke book which covered results up to about 1980
