FA Cup Qualifying Rounds on TV? Can't Post or Reply Privately

Does anyone know if the BBC will be showing live games for the 6 qualifying rounds like they did last season?

If they are who would be your choice for the Extra Preliminary round?

Ryhope Community Association vs Ryhope Colliery Welfare (both in Sunderland)

Other noticeable tie.

Haverhill Town vs Haverhill Borough

Theres a few canny ties in the north that would be worth it if the BBC are still doing this

Consett v North Shields
Hebburn Town v Dunston UTS
Ryhope CW v Sunderland RCA
AFC Darwen v Barnton
City of Liverpool v Silsden
Widnes v Northwich Victoria

Looks like the BBC have chosen the Haverhill derby.

Thats a shame. I would have gone for a tie with Two clubs making their debuts in the competition. Winslow United v Easington Sports for starters.

I watched the Haverhill v Haverhill game. The BBC commentary was done from a studio in Salford using the same one camera feed everyone had on the interne and the coverage was still very well done by the BBC

I've had a quick skim through the Preliminary Round and nothing stands out.

There are two ties with teams from Level 10 playing each other.
Malvern Town (10) vs Racing Club Warwick (10)
Anstey Nomads (10) vs Clipstone (10)

Just seen this one, a North Greater Manchester Derby.
Prestwich Heys (10) vs Radcliffe (8)

Have I missed any others?

If they fancy one with a decent crowd, City of Liverpool v Glossop. Or for a local derby, AFC Mansfield v Rainworth MW.

Alvechurch v Bromsgrove is a genuine derby which should get 500+

Did the BBC really refer to them as 'Borough'?

Maltby Main v Frickley Athletic chosen for broadcast from the First Round Qualifying. A mere 70-odd miles from the tie chosen in the last round. Come on BBC, spread it around a bit, nowhere even remotely in the South West has been chosen either last year or this year so far.

There is a colliery connection to this tie and it is great that the BBC actually are aware that Yorkshire exists.

Would anyone else prefer it if they showed the live game on a different day instead of 12:30 on a Saturday. Would a Monday night get more people watching?

I doubt whether the floodlights at many of the grounds at this stage would be suitable for a night broadcast. Sunday lunchtime or afternoon would be better for me.

Well looking at this year and last years games they seem to only know about the North.

Of the 9 ties played in 2017/18 and 18/19 qualifying rounds so far, only 3 have been south of Birmingham.

Haverhill Rovers vs Haverhill Borough (Cambridgeshire)
Billerica vs Didcot (Essex)
St Albans vs Boreham Wood (Hertfordshire)

Not a single match chosen from anywhere south of London.

My money would be on South Shields vs Stockport County. Pretty much guaranteed sell out of a growing club vs a fallen "giant"

Seeing as South Shields got a home tie broadcast last season, I'd say this was very unlikely.

I agree with this. It surely has to be the chosen game as the BBC havent ventured into the south West yet. I would put money on it!

Looks like Lymington v Torquay probably wasn't the best choice by the BBC.

Dunston UTS v Chester looks a decent tie for the next round, or for local interest, Stourbridge v Kidderminster.
