Didn't they play in five out of six seasons, 1948-54, winning two games in 1953?

I assumed the rounds were regionalised. How can you get a 165-mile round trip when it's regionalised. Ellesmere Rangers v Leicester Road. What numskull draws up the zones?

11 Leicestershire sides in Zone 4 and just one in Zone 3. The FA is a complete and utter bunch of chocolate teapots. Yet again Leicestershire gets split and pulled apart because of its location.

I once saw Aylesbury Vale v. Kirkley and Pakefield in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup. Not just a long distance but no motorways. It went to a replay so Aylesbury had to make the same trip midweek.

Ellesmere is not exactly in a high populated area so there will always be these kind of anomalies in the draw.

@FAcupfactfile has confirmed it is not St. George's first outing.

Meanwhile, can anyone beat the length of the Extra Preliminary tie, for the title of "best team in Sunderland" (c) Newcastle fans
Sunderland Ryhope Community Association v Sunderland Ryhope Colliery Welfare

The same numbskull who gave us Tuffley Rovers (FAC) and Brimscombe & Thrupp (FAV) last season. He's at it again with Royal Wootton Bassett Town and potentially Lydney Town this season. It's just as well I'm taking time out for a while as a trip to Lydney would bring back memories of those mind-numbing hauls to Cinderford. Crazy
