Lochmaben (South Of Scotland League) - going home Can't Post or Reply Privately

I had long ago heard a rumour that Lochmaben wanted to cease being groundsharers at New King Edward Park 3G in Lockerbie and get their own ground in the village of Lochmaben. The Lowland League fixture list released yesterday intriguingly gives the venue for their South Challenge Cup tie on 15th September vs Kelty Hearts as "Whitehills Park". Shocked !!
A bit of digging, and yes - Lochmaben's facebook has a recently-posted photo of foundations for changing rooms at Whitehills Park in Lochmaben.

Their registered ground for the coming season remains Lockerbie, so they'll probably start the season there at least. But presumably as soon as works are done at Whitehills Park they'll move home. Whether as soon as, or sooner than, the 15th of September remains to be seen.
South of Scotland League fixtures are not yet out, for anybody who now urgently needs to tidy up getting the bracketed tick of them at Lockerbie before they move. ...That'll be just me then.
