Rushall Olympic Can't Post or Reply Privately

Does the following:-

http://www.evostikleague.co.uk/...ints-deduction-51282

actually make any sense? To me it reads as if the FA, after upholding the club's appeal against the NPL's sanction, then imposed an identical sanction on the club.

Makes no sense to me whatsoever. But very little does at the moment, after trying to understand the promotion and relagation rules for next season....

Be fair. We knew that they were only ever going to be guidelines, until a club folded or took voluntary demotion, or whatever, whereupon they'd become "it wasn't too bad an idea. Shame it was never meant to be."

There is a lengthy statement about this now on the Rushall site https://www.rofc.co.uk/...nt--points-deduction
I still don't understand it. It seems they upheld Rushalls appeal and then imposed the same points deduction and fine under a different rule that simply says they can. Makes no sense.
The club has also had to return 6,250 of Cup and Trophy prize money, this coming just after the ground was broken into and vandalised.

The only explanation I can think of is that there was a flaw in the NPL's original procedures. The FA acknowledged this by upholding the appeal, but then reinstated the punishment to prevent Rushall from getting off on a technicality.
If this was the case it would have helped if the FA statement had made it clear.
