Thanks Uncle Ian!

There will be a silent update tomorrow, to reflect two late changes. One is mentioned above: Bedford Tigers RLFC have a new ground - although they appear not to have told the Rugby Football League, because the Southern Conference League website says they are still playing at Bedford Ath.

The other is that Oadby Town FC have un-resigned from the United Counties League and will play out the season, so they need to go back in.

If you're not planning a trip to either of those places then you probably don't need to do anything. If you are, you may want to download the green Mar/Apr edition again, but not until tomorrow evening!

That update has now happened. Oadby Town are back in after their un-resignation from the United Counties League, while North Ferriby United have been taken out since the club is reported as no longer in existence.

It turns out that Bedford Tigers are not the only Southern Conference Rugby League team who haven't quite got around to telling the Rugby League that they have moved grounds. They are now at Kingsfield Sports Centre MK40 4WG and not at Bedford Athletic RUFC, Wests Warriors are now at Twyford Avenue W3 9QA (also the home of the London splinter of Wasps RUFC) and not at Chiswick RUFC, and Torfaen Tigers are now at New Road NP4 0TL (New Panteg RUFC) and not at Cwmbran RUFC. I have to take it on trust that the Rugby League have the right information about Valley Cougars being at Treharris Phoenix RUFC, because the club doesn't have a website. Why don't clubs consider it important for their leagues to have the right information about where games will be played?

In another minor change, I am assured that there are as many buses to Penperlleni for Goytre FC as there always were, but Stagecoach managed to miss some of them off the published timetable!

If none of these changes are relevant to where you plan to go then you need take no action, but if they are then it's worth downloading the document again. It's still green, but the front page now includes the word "Revised".

Link to the latest edition has been down for the past week but the January edition is available from the link on the previous page.
From WDYG 23/3 it looks like the bus to Storthes Hall for Shelley FC that runs during term time is available for non-students. Good to know as the bus company doesn't reply to emails.

That was my report (I was going to send Andy a note so thanks for saving me the job!). It is indeed available for all and is a "normal" bus accepting all tickets including Plusbus. Bear in mind that it is still several minutes walk down an unlit narrow lane when planning a trip there.

The link above, to the green version of GTF with the word Revised on the front cover, is definitely working for me. Has anyone else found it not working, or is there an issue at Ancient Wolf's end?

Thanks for the information about Shelley. The bus referred to is First Halifax, Calder Valley & Huddersfield bus 399. It's tricky to include in GTF because there are three different timetables - one during term time at the University of Huddersfield, one during the Christmas and Easter holidays, and one during the summer holidays (that one is easy - the bus doesn't run). Student reports are that it "hardly ever turns up", but that probably needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.

I'm not quite sure how to get around the three timetables without writing an essay length entry for Shelley, but the bus is now on the radar so it will be considered for inclusion next time around.
