Essex & Suffolk Border League tomorrow - Gas Recreation v Coggeshall Utd. 1st v 2nd. Two games left for both. Gas secure the title with a win. A draw means Coggeshall would have to win big in their last game, and hope Gas lose theirs. A win for Coggeshall puts them level on points.

A surprise yesterday, as Coggeshall won 3-0, to go level on points with Gas, and reduce the margin of goal difference to just two, although Gas Recreation have scored more goals.

Both sides now have one game left:
Tuesday - Little Oakley Res v Coggeshall
Saturday - Hatfield Peverel v Gas Rec

It's likely that Gas will have to win by a few in their last game to take the title.

Coggeshall won 4-0 last night, which means Gas Recreation need to beat Hatfield Peverel by a margin of two goals or more to secure the title.

Wednesday 9th May 6.30pm
East Sussex League Prem
Hollington Utd v Battle Baptists
20 game season
Battle p19 pts 52
Hollington p18 pts 50
If either team wins, they take the title. If it's a draw, Hollington will still need to beat Sidley on Saturday (Hollington beat Sidley by a single goal in the Hastings Intermediate Cup Final, last Saturday)

After Hollington scored twice in the 89th and 90+2, using their 'Get Out of Jail Free' card in the process, to tie this one at 2-2, Hollington can still win the title with a win at home to Sidley on Saturday.

Big top of the table match in the Northern Alliance Division One on Saturday (30 game season):

Killingworth YPC (2nd, P23 62pts) vs Hazlerigg Victory (1st, P27, 70pts)

If Killingworth win and Newcastle Chemfica (3rd, P27, 56pts) don't or Killingworth draw and Chemfica lose then I think they are promoted, assuming two go up to the Premier Division. Home side would prefer a title win as well mind.

Grounds visited: 209
Last new ground: Amberley Park (Killingworth YPC)
Next planned fixture: Unsure

Killingworth YPC are merging with Premier Division Killingworth Town next season. Normally itís the top two from Division One promoted. Also Northbank Carlisle are pulling out the league from next season. Depending on other things such as relegation thereís every chance both Hazlerigg Victory and Newcastle Chemfica will be both promoted into the Premier Division too.

Wiltshire League:
Purton v Melksham Town Reserves (2nd 31-73)
Trowbridge Town v Kintbury Rangers (1st 31-75)
Kintbury just need point to clinch title as they have much better goal difference than Melksham.

Somerset League:

Division 1 East:
Broad Plain House v Saltford (2nd 30-69)
Imperial v Timsbury Athletic (3rd 31-68)
Saltford will be promoted if they match the result of Timsbury, who have much better goal difference. They won't want it to go down to their final game at champions Westfield on 19th.

Division 1 West:
Top 3:
Worle 29-70
Somerton Town 29-67
Uphill Castle 28-64

Final fixtures:
12/5 Congresbury v Uphill Castle
12/5 Worle v Clevedon United Reserves
14/5 Glastonbury v Uphill Castle
19/5 Nailsea & Tickenham Reserves v Somerton Town
Worle need point from final game to clinch promotion, their goal difference worse than the others. Somerton have much better goal difference than Uphill Castle.

West Riding Amateur League:

16/5 Littletown v Golcar United
19/5 Golcar United v Littletown

Golcar, currently in 3rd place, will clinch title if they win these two games which they previously lost but are being replayed as Littletown fielded an ineligible player in both of them. One win may be enough if they are awarded a walkover for last week's postponed game with Wakefield City, who also pulled out of last Saturday's match at current 2nd place team Steeton.

Northern Alliance Division 2:

16/5 Bedlington FC (3rd 27-52) v Winlaton Vulcans (4th 25-47)
Assuming the top 2 go up in this 15 team division, both teams need to win this to stand any chance of catching 2nd placed Prudhoe YC (26-55).
Remaining games:
19/5 Whitley Bay SC v Winlaton Vulcans
23/5 Willington Quay Saints v Prudhoe YC
26/5 Gateshead Redheugh v Prudhoe YC
26/5 Winlaton Vulcans v Blyth SC

Herts Senior County League:

Both divisions won by Bovingdon, reserves' promotion presumably depends on whether the first team can get lights or will be groundsharing to go up. Three teams chasing 2nd promotion place in Division 1:
Sun Sports Reserves 25-51
Hadley Reserves 23-48
Weston 1st 23-47
Remaining fixtures:
16/5 Sarratt v Weston
17/5 Hadley Reserves v Sun Sports Reserves
19/5 Hadley Reserves v Sarratt
19/5 Weston v Hinton
TBA:
Hadley Reserves v Hinton
Rayners Lane Reserves v Weston

Sun Sports Reserves are presumably now their 1st team since they pulled out of the SSML.

Wigan Amateur League

Table:
1. Newburgh Harrock United - 1 game left, 51 pts (+43 GD)
2. Winstanley St Aidans - 3 games left, 49 pts (+53 GD)

Both teams currently unbeaten

FIXTURES remaining:

Thu 17 May 6.15: Bickerstaffe v Winstanley St Aidans
Sat 19 May 2.00 : CUP FINAL - Newburgh Harrock United v Winstanley St Aidans (at Charnock Richard)
Mon 21 May 6.15 : Pemberton v Winstanley St Aidans
Wed 23 May 6.15 : Newburgh Harrock United v Winstanley St Aidans

So if WSA win Thu and on Mon they will win the league then
Anything less and it all goes down to the final game on Wed 23rd i a massive clash.

I'm hoping for 2 draws from WSA so the two unbeaten teams will meet and winner takes all, or another draw for WSA would clinch them the league on GD.

I think this will be my match to visit next Wed.

Possible Welsh National League title decider this Saturday (19/5)

Buckley Town vs Brickfield Rangers

Buckley top of table with 65 points from 27 (out of 28)
Brickfield second with 61 from 26

(for the cuddlers, Buckley are regular issuers but I would advise contacting them to check/reserve)

If you wanted to make it a North Wales weekend, there is also the Welsh Premier League Europa League Play-Off Final on Sunday (20/5) as Cefn Druids take on Cardiff Met (with the unusual kick off time of 12:25).

Another potential title decider this Saturday in Dorset League Premier Division which may tempt me to stay closer to home:
Corfe Castle v Chickerell United

Corfe Castle will clinch title with win. Chickerell will go top if they win last game but title will still be out of their hands, needing their rivals to draw in next week's showdown.
Top 3 as it stands:
Corfe Castle 22-50 (+32)
Chickerell United 23-49 (+36)
Portland United Reserves 22-46 (+32)
Final fixtures:
19/5 Corfe Castle v Chickerell United
19/5 Portland United Reserves v Cranborne
26/5 Portland United Reserves v Corfe Castle

Portland will be looking to improve their goal difference against 2nd bottom Cranborne who, depending on how many teams go down, can still be caught by bottom team Dorchester Sports reserves. This is their last game while Sports, 3 points behind with better goal difference, have 2 to play.

Division 3:
Verwood All Stars (3rd 23-46) v Gill Dons
Bridport 3rds (2nd 22-49) v Donhead United
Bridport just need a point from their final two games to clinch promotion, they finish at home to Handley Sports on 26th. Verwood All Stars, who have the better goal difference by 2, need to beat the champions to keep their own hopes alive. I believe their home ground is Fryer Playing Field, Station Road, West Moors.

West Yorkshire League Premier Division:

Two teams can catch clubhouse leaders Leeds City and meet each other in final game.
Top 3 as it stands:
Leeds City 30-69 (+44)
Carlton Athletic 27-65 (+61)
Beeston St Anthony's 28-64 (+46)

Remaining fixtures:
19/5 Ilkley Town v Carlton Athletic
21/5 Beeston St Anthony's v Huddersfield Amateur
23/5 Hartshead v Carlton Athletic
26/5 Beeston St Anthony's v Carlton Athletic

Beeston need to win their penultimate game and hope Carlton slip up in one of their next two to make the final game a winner takes all title decider.

A win for Thurnby will not only keep the title open for one more game but will clinch them runners up minimum , and so promotion i would guess .

Anglesey League title decider on Saturday - Mynydd Tigers v Bryngwran Bulls. The visitors are a point clear of Tigers at the top, and this is the last game of the season for both. Just a shame it's being played in a cage - the 3G next to Bangor's ground.
