I am also trying to follow this league.
The Full Time has not been updated for 6 weeks.
The league was down to just 8 teams and i am told others may have pulled out. But which ones? Does the league actually function anymore because no league fixtures seem to be being played at the moment. The clubs websites say nothing and i tried emailing one club chairman who replied that he did not know anything either.
I would be grateful if you could post anything you find out on here.

Can't see it working - leagues have tried this before - and its always failed. I'd love for them to get another 8 teams joining but it ain't going to happen.

Once the rot starts, its almost impossible to top it, and this league has had some pretty masisve rot set in over the past5 or 6 years especially.

Salisbury, Matlock, Driffield and Maidstone leagues will all be gone this summer. If not, they'll be no more the following summer.

The Luton & South Bed League has already faced up to it and admitted defeat - they won't be the last this summer.

Last April they had 20 teams. i think a couple joined last summer.
In spite of this they are now down to 8 teams.
I agree that once the rot sets in its hard to stop. But they have left it too late to even try to find the magical answer.

i just do not see where the new clubs can come from.

By my reckoning - since 2008 we have lost 40 Saturday men's leagues across England.

Barnsley Association League

Bath & North Somerset District League

Bishop's Stortford, Stansted & District

Bradford League

Bristol & Avon League

Burton League

Chesterfield & District League

Crawley & District League

East Cheshire League

East Riding Amateur League

Eskvale & Cleveland League (merged with Teesside League)

Essex Business Houses League

Gainsborough & District League

Grantham & District League

Gravesend League

Grimsby & District League

Huddersfield & District Works & Combination League

Ilford & District League

Kidderminster & District League

Kingsley League

Kingston & Disrict League

Leeds Red Triangle League

Leicester City League

Lincoln League

London Commercial League

Luton & South Bedfordshire League

North & Mid-Herts League

Norwich & District League

Redhill & District League

St. Helens & District Combination

Selby & District League

South Yorkshire Amateur League

Spen Valley League

Thanet League

Tonbridge & District League

Wearside Combination League

Winchester & District League

Wolverhampton Combination League

Worcester & District League

Worthing & District League (merged into the Brighton, Hove & District League)

And this summer we will also lose the Midland Amateur Alliance and the Notts Amateur Alliance - although they are merging with each other so we will get a new league.

and the new league will have less clubs than either the NAA or MAA had when they first appeared on Full-Time

As you predicted.
They had a meeting last night and decided not to continue next season.
Another one gone.
