As if this week wasn't surreal enough the Hamlet have won 1-0 tonight. The winning goal was scored in injury time by the goalkeeper taking a free kick in his own half. The opposition keeper, who had a good game by all reports, is his cousin.

You couldn't make the past 72 hours up.

Security guards, CCTV and trespassers will be prosecuted signs reportedly appearing around the ground today. I've got a feeling we won't play at home again this season. We shall see.

Any contingency plans put into action should the worse come to the worse for the rest of the season?

I presume you mean grounds? The club have had numerous offers to borrow grounds. The club visited at least three of those sites this week. An announcement will follow, obviously the league will be involved too.

It is unlikely we will find a ground free on the dates of all our remaining matches so either a few date changes or multiple grounds being used seems likely.

Dulwich spent the whole 1991/92 season.at Tooting whilst the current ground was built. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were one of the teams who have offered to help.

Dulwich Hamlet v Worthing is now provisionally at Tooting & Mitcham on Sunday 18th. Well well, there's a surprise. Expect a lot of our remaining games to be played at Tooting (TBC). Thank you Tooting & Mitcham. We will remember who has helped.....

From Dulwich & Hamlet Twitter

We’re delighted to announce that long term rivals Tooting and Mitcham have offered a home for us this season.

This means our game against @WorthingFC will provisionally be played on Sunday, March 18th.

We’ll make a full statement tomorrow.

Good, publicity is our friend, the Telegraph today I believe. We can't afford to be picky. Truth be told though the most important coverage to date has probably come when we were lead story in the International Trade Mark Review and Law Gazette earlier this week. Surreal and brilliant news for us.

I have seen tweets asking why we are getting so much coverage, a debate in the House of Commons about this next week. Quite simply there is a dedicated group of people pushing this story, to a semi agreed agenda - it moves too quickly at times. They have been superb. No names for obvious reasons but we owe them so much.

Why are we in the Telegraph today? Because the club worked with openings we had. There is an off the record forum for key Hamlet fans, we believe Meadow are monitoring our main forum. Some of the people there run some of the key South London websites. When opportunities present themselves they are worked it. Because of that Gary Lineker re-tweeted something and it went ballistic.

We are taking a bigger view here. When our folks were in Parliament on Thursday they raised cases such as Skelmersdale. Initial talks are going on to see if the knowledge gained from this can be banked to assist other clubs in the future. We shall see.

Edited to say the presence of a secret forum has already been revealed elsewhere. Peter Bennion and Andrew McDaniel needent bother asking for a log on.

Now at home to Metroplitan Police, at tooting's Imperiial Fields on Tuesday, in the League Cup semi-final.
Wednesday away to Leatherhead now postponed.
Saturday 17th: 12 noon Rally at Goose Green, by the roundabout in East Dulwich...then a fans march to the closed ground.
Sunday 18th: Home to Worthing at Imperial Fields. We would love as many neutrals from the hopping fraternity as possible. Feel free to wear your shirts, if you support a club side, and bring banners from your clubs, if you wish. All welcome!
TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG...SAVE DULWICH HAMLET!

Dulwich Hamlet were a 'traditional' members club, like the majority of non-league clubs. Then, in the late Eighties, members voted to become a Limited Company, and Steve Dye stepped in to buy the shares and save the Club at the time, and oversee the move into the current Champion Hill,
The ground was sold by the Club in the early Seventies (1971?) to Office Cleaning Services Limited, to stave off closure, a benevolent move by their directors, who included the Goodliffe brothers, who played for the Club in the 1930s. They sold the ground to Kings College London, and we gave up the remainder of the lease on the old Champion Hill, which allowed them to sell their sports ground next door in partnership with Sainsburys, which is how we got our current ground. Kings in turn sold our ground on earlier this century, the owners of the ground then went into receivership, which is when property developers stepped in...
That's a very truncated summary, but basically accurate.

At least one journalist is reporting Meadow as saying they believe they can fight off any Compulsory Purchase Order. It is far from certain they will go quietly. All will become clearer in the next few weeks, this could easily drag on for 2/3 years if Meadow resist the CPO.

This is a long way from over and DHFC are far from safe despite the incredible support from Southwark.
