Dyce are today (Friday) saying Ian Mair Park is looking fine for tomorrow's eighth attempt at the Irvine Meadow Junior Cup tie, so no move to Montrose FC's plastic.

So therefore I 'only' need to be in three places at once ! Crazy
Favourite sounds like the novelty venue for Ashfield - a caged astro on the northern edge of Bellahouston Park, so just the other side of the motorway from Ibrox (and with no match there this Saturday, using Ibrox subway station will be less unpleasant).
I should perhaps straightaway post this is in a specific thread, but :
The works at Ashfield is widening of the speedway track ahead of that season - first home meeting 1st March. SERIOUSLY cutting into the grass interior for that track widening. See photos here :
https://www.glasgowtigers.co/...ck-new-race-circuit/
Ashfield have home fixtures due 27th Jan and 17th Feb which will probably have to move too. But more worrying is whether after the works there'll be enough interior width left for a football pitch at all...
I've asked 'elsewhere' for comment from anybody connected to Ashfield. If I get some clarity I'll start a proper thread.
...And if that clarity says the other two will also be moved to the Palace Of Arts, then I'll leave it until one of those and instead tomorrow do the bracketed tick of Fauldhouse using Tranent.

And Tranent have even paid for a 50-seater bus to bring Fauldhouse and their supporters through to Tranent.Anybody would think they wanted their local rivals (and just above them in the table) Dunbar to lose. Wink

Just back from the Camelon shop and cut across the parks pitches on my way home. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them (apart from my shoes getting wet), and they are only half a mile away from Carmuirs Park.

Whitletts is close enough to the coast that it shouldn't be a problem - we're just up the road from there in Troon today and it was never in doubt...combination of sandy soil and all the salt in the air means the place virtually never freezes.
