William "Willie" Salmond Thomson Penman
born 7th August 1939 at East Wemyss, Fife, Scotland
died Friday 22nd December 2017, aged 78

Inside forward who played for Glasgow Rangers, Newcastle United, Swindon Town, Walsall, Dundalk and Seattle Sounders.

Penman won a Division 2 medal with Newcastle in 1975 was a used substitute when Swindon won the League Cup in 1969.

He later managed for a season at Cheltenham Town in 1973. He then played in the N.A.S.L. for Seattle Sounders.
