FA Vase/FA Cup expenses...Secretaries HELP!! Can't Post or Reply Privately

DO clubs still pay expenses to the away side in the Cup competitions, particularly the FA Vase.
Can"t seem to find anything on line anywhere, our tie in the 1st round has been switched to Nottingham from Westella(Hull).
The thought of paying for the 170 mile round trip per car/per mile or bus is scary.
Why was the Humberside league placed with the Notts clubs for an extra preliminary round game?
Have early regional fixtures gone by the wayside this season?
Hope one of you out there can shed some light

Arnold Town are still technically the away side, even if the game is played at their place.

85 miles each way doesn't sound too bad, I'm sure there are loads of Vase ties with longer trips than that.

Competition rules can be downloaded here

Just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

Westella now ground share at Hall Road Rangers who are drawn at home to Gedling. They were at Barton Town last season.

Are Westella still eligible having taken voluntary relegation to the Humber Premier League (Step7) ?

Step 7 clubs are allowed in FAV so I don't see why not.

The forms for FA competitions are here - http://www.thefa.com/...cup/more/match-forms

The 'statement of receipts & payments form' is fairly self explanatory. In the early rounds a lot of the games will result in a shared loss as the expenses often outweigh the gate receipts.

You can do, but you don't have to. The forms are enabled so that you can just fill them in online and send them off via email.
The match arrangement form can be done as soon as you know your opponents - you need to agree the distance between the grounds for travelling expense purposes and find out opponents' colours and how much the entry fee for any possible replay will be. Contrary to some peoples' beliefs - you don't have to charge the same entry fee as your opponents in FA competitions. There are minimum entry prices for each round in each competition in the FA rules though.
If you can't come to agreement on anything the FA will resolve any issues.

You'll need a hard copy of the team sheets which the FA will send to you.
