My preliminary figures are

666 teams in levels 1-9 2018-19
(proving that the F.A. restructure is the devils work?)

2 Level 8 & 9 Level 9 did not enter or were ineligible

So 655 level 1-9 entrants

Leaving a total of 81 places for level 10 teams
which just covers all the top 4's (19 x 4 = 76)
with 5 to spare but would not have if every club
above that level had entered

When there are -
another Level 8 league (20 teams)
two more Level 9 leagues (20 teams each)
the two Level 9's with a team short are full (2 teams)
every Level 1-9 club enters (11 teams)

There will be only 8 spaces remaining

Confirmation that Saturday's Harborough Town v Cambridge City game goes ahead at Northampton Road after being given the all clear following the installation of the 3G surface.

After another load of cries of "Not them again... " following today's draw, I wonder if it might be time to scrap the regional draw for the qualifying rounds and subsidise travel for the away team.

I tend to agree. We have Anstey v Oadby and these pair know each other inside out even though they have played at different levels for years. The prize money on offer even for losing clubs means the time has come for a more open draw from this round.

That was called correct by the Oadby sec on Monday - he said it would be Quorn or Anstey. They also play each other in the UCL League Cup and will play each other again in the Vase should they both progress.

Serious overkill.
