I'm surprised to see Stony Stratford have slipped further down the pyramid.

It's the same division they were in as last season. They requested to go into that division in order to have time for general improvements if i remember correctly.

I thought that too but not in the second division of the North Bucks. Hopefully they are laying foundations for a sound, financial future.

At least one team seems to be on the verge of withdrawing from the league, a circumstance which currently is causing a kerfuffle with the fixture scheduling.

Willen and Grendon Rangers Reserves have both withdrawn.

Willen's first team has as I understand it folded. Their former reserves now are referred to simply as Willen and they will compete in the North Bucks Div 1 in 2017/18.

Mursley United have also scrapped their reserve side, meaning that Clean Slate Reserves and Old Bradwell United Development are the only two SSMFL Div 2 second string sides in the NBDFL.
