And if he rejects the apparent advances of Inter then Chelsea fans will see him as even nicer.

Certainly far more affable than his predecessor although I did find Jose's latest little dig at Wenger mildly amusing Wink

Yes, well deserved. Not easy for me to praise Chelsea, but they're an impressive team and I'm pleased for their manager.

I just wish Tottenham could manage to add a title win to the high quality football they're producing. Unimpressed

Shame, for them at least, that they don't produce this 'high quality football' when it actually matters or away from home. Despite being the absolute darlings of the media especially with SKY Sports, this a club who have won just 2 League Cups in over 25 years and have a manager who has never won anything.

Oh, it's much worse than that.

One of my early football memories was of them winning the FA Cup in 1967, since then their Glory Game has brought them 3 more FA Cup Wins, 4 League Cup Wins and 2 UEFA Cup Wins .but 0 League Title Wins.

None. Zilch. Zero. Nil. Nada.

However, you'll appreciate that as a Sheffield United supporter I'm in no position to criticise any team for lack of meaningful trophies Frown

Not easy for you to praise Chelsea? How would you react to Blades/Owls in a similar position (however laughable that may seem)

Unsurprisingly, the idea of Blades/Owls in a similar position had never occurred to me. Cool

My only problem with Chelsea are reservations about how their owner made his billions. However, given that foreign owners/investors with interesting back stories are turning up all over the English game, including Sheffield, I've decided that I might as well accept that the world has moved on.
