Pin Badge Storage Can't Post or Reply Privately

I'm not sure if this is the right section so apologies if not.

Does anyone have any recommendations for storage of pin badges? I have a collection of over 150 Welsh League club badges now and rather than stick them to a cork board was wondering if there was a better alternative I could use instead?

Cheers,

Jamesy

Don't collect them but seen people with A4 folders with sheets of compartments, think they are designed for coins?. Available online or from better class stationers or coin dealers?.

I use A4 sheets of felt, available from the likes of Hobbycraft in many different colours for 50p or so, you can fit about 60 badges on a sheet easily and they look really good. Then the sheets fit nicely in a standard box file.

There's already quite a good thread on this very topic on here somewhere or other with lots of posts.

When I used to collect badges I cut up an unused Subbutteo pitch and covered some polystyrene packing with it. The pins on the badges went into the polystyrene. When that was full I used thick card covered in Subbutteo pitch. The main problems I had, was badges sent from clubs not being packed properly so the Royal Mail sorting machinery mangled them, breaking off the pins. Also some badges tarnished badly. Brechin City ones were the worst. I kept having to buy new ones.
