Lets try and narrow this down a bit more. From a country that has played in either a World Cup final or Euro Final? I take this to mean the actual final of one of the tournaments. And that's a no. As a clarification Michael Does this rule out all parts of countries e.g. Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia which reached a final before partition?
Good question Ropey. I answered the question with regard to this person's present-day country which then might (or might not) be part of former Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia or USSR.
And before I get into further trouble, the bloke was born outside what I (and he) consider "his country".
