Re; Haughmond v. Alvechurch - I am under the impression that Haughmond play in a 3G cage without spectator accomodation so would that be permitted in this competition? Of course I could be wrong but obviously I would like to know for sure before I travel there, so thanks in advance to anyone who has been there recently and can enlighten us.

It's in a cage, but it's a grass pitch. There is a small seated stand on one side, maybe 50 seats? No spectator access within the cage to the other 3 sides, but it is possible to watch from outside the cage behind one goal where there are some steps leading to the sports centre.

Cheers for that, sounds OK as long as the seated stand is within the cage.

We do try to keep the sticky threads for stats, so as they provide an easy reference. I do not have time to remove all other comments, but lets start right. I left the question about prize fund on the original thread, as the answer would be a stat in itself.

Is there any chance of our residence mappers, being able to do a map of the first round of fixtures in each of the FA cup competitions?

The stand is inside the cage. There are quite a few WDYG reports on this venue.

Stand definitely inside the "cage" and has a great view. When we played there last season I believe they were making some standing areas. One was behind the near goal and the other was extending the viewing area on the stand side all the way to the far corner flag. That might not make sense if you haven't been there but spectator facilities are improving.

I've seen a few of these reports but, like many WDYG reports in general, they tend to be more about the match itself than the spectator facilities. I do remember one amusing comment about the programme selling out and a "Haughmond fan" trying to buy one from other spectators. It's nice to know that Haughmond have fans, although you would imagine that he would know the programme editor personally. Perhaps he was the editor and had forgotten to keep a copy for himself!

Here's the photo I took last season. It shows the path/standing behind the goal that was being worked on. Chatting to them on that day, it was a ground grading requirement and spectators would be able to stand there. Additionally, there would standing areas all the way to the corner flag beyond the seating, meaning two sides are fully accessible.
