Not a fan of Farage but if ever i needed cheering up then watching him in the European Parliament today did the trick. Told them exactly what he thought of them. Fantastic viewing.

Absolutely, a bit of British backbone rather than that grovelling little wimp Cameron.

He has solid Little Englander bone all the way between his ears.

Wonder if he'll have to take the Blue bits out of his little Union flag.

The most dispiriting thought is when he has to leave off as an MEP we get stuck with the obnoxious git back over here.

he got rid of bnp you should be greatful for that

I think there is some truth in that, although internal divisions in the BNP muat be just as responsible (see also Thatcher and the National Front in the seventies).

How will he survive though when he comes back here as he has made himself deliberately unemployed and so won't get benefits andhe can't get elected to parliament under our unfair system?Crazy

I'm pretty sure e won't have any trouble paying his rent or his mortgage to whichever overseas based Company that owns his property or debt.

Cool

Not all that much, I've no great love for the EU and it's facing major problems. I didn't finally make up my mind until late in the campaign. In the end I decided it was better to stay in and try to change it from inside.

I work and socialise with plenty of people who voted Leave, they're not racists and I respect, but disagree with, their choice.

However, as you'll have gathered, I've come to detest Farage. Marmite effect maybe.

In one sense I suppose I'm in a win win situation. If Brexit goes well I'll be pleasantly surprised and happily admit I was wrong. If, on the other hand, the wheels fall off……well it wasn't my choice was it? Tongue

'next leader of ukip will be neil Hamilton '

But as usual Christine will be telling him what to do.....

If you're going to/been to a Hampshire Premier League match, I'd really appreciate you filling in a questionnaire - available in the Groundhopping/General section, or just PM me for a copy. Thanks.

How about Paul Nuttall as next leader, Gareth?

He seems to have all the necessary skills to pull the ex-Labour vote, which is surely UKIPs target audience.

Now even Dick Braine thinks they're a lost cause.
