Jo Cox MP RIP Can't Post or Reply Privately

A second attempt to try and take the posts about the murder of one of our democratically elected representatives away from the bluster being generated back and forth over the EU Referendum.

Re: [Richard Rundle] Jo Cox MP RIP [In reply to] Can't Post or

Terrible news she was only in her 40's. What ever the reasons the bloke had this should not happen in this country or any country for that matter. Not seen the news this evening but read on text she was shot and knifed.

A very sad loss.

A vile crime by an evil waste of space.

Even as a non-Labour supporter, I was horrified and disgusted at this terrible crime against a passionate campaigner for human rights.

I hope there isn't any proof forthcoming of a political motivation, and that the person responsible is just a very sick man who should be institutionalised for ever.

R.I.P. Jo.

Nice try RR, but it seems that some on here simply wish to bicker about the circumstances surrounding the murder of the MP rather than show respect for her work and life. Some things never change.

By all accounts a thoroughly principled lady who went out of her way to assist others who were less fortunate.

RIP Ms Cox.

I wish I had the moral courage and strength of character that her husband showed in his statement.

Re: [jon b] Jo Cox MP RIP [In reply to] Can't Post or Reply Privately

I have split this thread into two, this one is only for thoughts about Jo Cox herself, her work and family.
If you want to speculate about the killer's motives or make political points, they go to the other thread.
I have cleaned up a little, to try and may have deleted posts that could have been kept on the other thread, apologies if you feel a comment by yourself falls into this category

Absolutely tragic.
Like every one else I'm shocked, saddened and disgusted by the murder of Jo Cox.
My heart goes out to her family and the community she served which loved her to bits.
No cause can justify these actions.
RIP Jo Cox

The husbands tribute to Jo today brought a tear to the eye.
