The United Way? Can't Post or Reply Privately

Manchester United`s sterile performances this season has seen them of not playing The united way. Six Yellow cards and One red in the FA Cup Final would suggest the United way has changed. With Mouriniho taking control I cannot see the discipline at united improving much. Shocked

Stating the obvious but he needs to win games and he generally does just that when at a new club but player unrest has been reported time and again with him but with the OT dressing room no longer packed with big name stars that could work in his favour.

The United Way has also been to develop youth alongside big signings, to stand by their manager and to generally conduct their affairs with some class (off the field, at least).

The Woodward regime has instead sat back and allowed media speculation over van Gaal to flourish for months while Mourinho - a man with no record of developing young players - has, through his cronies, flagrantly touted for the job and dropped hints at regular intervals that he's got it. And now it seems he has. All very shabby IMHO.

He will probably win the league with them though and that's what counts.

I'm not so sure. On either count!

The current policy appears to be sack the manager if they don't finish in the top 4 (Champions League qualification more important than trophies).
Seems like a bit of an insult to the FA Cup!

It is but that's the sad reality of the top flight modern game.

The annoying habit of the media making JM the story because of his alleged interesting character has already begun.

Much easier to report on outrage in the twittersphere and which over-priced "superstar" wants to come to OT rather than actually go to a game or comment on the play
