Same link as previous years still works:
http://www.fawsl.com/matches.html

Noticed that Bristol Academy are now Bristol City Women; Reading, newly promoted to FAWSL1, are playing their home matches at Wycombe Wanderers; Durham City are still playing at New Ferens Park despite their men's team being kicked out of the ground; Yeovil Town no longer playing at Sherborne, all games at Huish Park; Sheffield FC a new addition to FAWSL2.

Bristol City WFC! A bit of a sickener for 'Gasheads' as the team was originally called Bristol Rovers WFC.

Just goes to prove that there's only one team in BristolWink

Just to say Durham City and Durham Women have nothing in common, 2 different teams Smile

Anyone know the reason for the massive gaps in the fixture list?

Arsenal's fixtures are as follows:

20-Mar Birmingham City (A)FWC
23-Mar 3 days Reading (H)WSL
28-Mar 5 days Manchester City (A)WSL

03-Apr 6 days Notts County (H)FWC
17-Apr 14 days Sunderland (H)FWC
21-Apr 4 days Chelsea (H)WSL
27-Apr 6 days Reading (A)WSL

01-May 4 days Birmingham City (H)WSL
21-May 20 days Doncaster Belles (A)WSL

26-Jun 36 days Sunderland (H)WSL
29-Jun 3 days Birmingham City (A)WSL

10-Jul 11 days Notts County (H)WSL
17-Jul 7 days Chelsea (A)WSL
23-Jul 6 days Sunderland (A)WSL
31-Jul 8 days Liverpool (H)WSL

28-Aug 28 days Notts County (A)WSL

11-Sep 14 days Manchester City (H)WSL

30-Oct 49 days Doncaster Belles (H)WSL

06-Nov 7 days Liverpool (A)WSL

The "x days" is the number of days each fixture occurs after the previous one. I understand there will be a few FA Cup and League Cup ties to be inserted but from 4 games across May and June and a 49 day gap from Man City in September to Donny Belles in October? There's also a 28 day gap between Liverpool at the end of July and Notts County at the end of August. Indeed, only 1 game is scheduled for each of the last 4 months of the season!

I suspect the gap in August will be for the Olympics.

And any idea why this Thursday's home game against Chelsea is shown as a 1800hrs kickoff. To encourage families? Not to clash with an 8pm televised game (not sure what game that would be)? Just TV scheduling? Saving money by not requiring the floodlights?!

The Arsenal v Chelsea WSL game is live on BT and Arsenal v WBA PL is live on Sky with 8pm KO. A 6pm KO is probably for TV and not to conflict with the PL game.

Thanks for that, I just assumed that there wouldn't be any domestic pro men's games on a Thursday night.

Suits me though. I can get the train there from work without having to hang around Boringwood for an hour and a half waiting for kick off.
