Mid Essex League 2015/6 Can't Post or Reply Privately

As I mentioned a few weeks back, lots of changes to the Mid Essex League for the forthcoming season, with the number of divisions cut from seven to six...

A much changed Premier Division for 2015/6, with only Beacon Hill Rovers, Stifford Town, Braintree & Bocking United and Silver End United remaining from last season. Great Baddow have gone up to the Essex Olympian League, and Laindon Orient have moved sideways over to the Southend Borough Combination.
A surprise, as Tillingham Hotspur, who have rapidly gone up through the leagues in recent seasons, have plummeted right down to the bottom division again (now Division 5). St Cleres have surprisingly dropped down to Division 2 - presumably as their Reserves have pulled out the league (would have otherwise been elevated). Bottom side United Chelmsford Churches are also relegated two divisions, although their Reserves remain in the bottom division.
Haver Town have been promoted two divisions in to the Premier. The top six in Division 1 have also all been promoted to plug the gap: ProEssex, CT66, Iona, Sandon Royals, Harold Wood Athletic 'A' and Academy Soccer, to bring the division up to 11.

Division 1 remains at 12, despite the mass movement upwards, with Boreham, Dunmow Rhodes and Focus Ferrers staying put. Hutton 'A' have been relegated having finished bottom to Division 2, whilst White Hart United have dropped down to Division 3.
Going up three rungs are Pro Athletic, who finished runners-up in Division 4. The top two sides in Division 3 - Great Leighs Athletic and Real Maldon - have jumped two divisions. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th placed clubs in Division 2 - Stock United, Flitch United and Frenford Senior 'A' - have been promoted too, as have Great Baddow 'Reserves' who finished 6th.
Sandon Royals have introduced a Reserve team in to the Division.
Battlesbridge are now known as Battlesbridge & Rayleigh Town, although not sure if they have relocated from the Ford Sports Ground in Basildon to Rayleigh's ground, which is slightly closer to the village?

Division 2 is back up to 12, although only Durning and White Notley Reserves remain in the division. Runwell Hospital 'A' have pulled out of the league, as have Perimo - a surprise in the case of the latter, as they had apparently done a deal to play at Basildon United's ground next season?
The big name joining the league is Gosfield United, dropping down from the Essex & Suffolk Border League. As mentioned, St Clere's and UCC have dropped into Division 2, with Hutton 'A' relegated into it.
Division 4 champions Felsted Rovers are promoted two divisions. The 3rd, 4th and 5th placed sides in Division 3 - Extreme United, Mayland Village and Writtle - are all promoted as well, along with 7th placed Mundon Vics.
Manford Way have also reintroduced a team into the MEL, which pretty much start where the previous one ended.

Division 3 is up to 12 next season. As previously mentioned, St Clere's Reserves have left the league, as have Hutton 'B', whilst White Hart United drop two divisions into this one. St Margarets and Latchingdon also seem to have pulled out. Only Benfleet 'A' remain from last season's Division 3.
There is a new team in the league, calling Maltings Athletic. With that name I would assume they are Witham based?
The top two from Division 5 - Rayne United and Writtle Reserves - have both gone up two divisions. Strangely Flitch United 'A' - who finished 5th in Division 6, have been promoted ahead of many clubs by three divisions. 3rd to 8th in Division 4 - AFC Horndon, Harold Wood Athletic 'B', Kenson, Sparta Basildon, Haver Town Reserves and CT66 Reserves - have all been promoted.

Division 4 goes up to 13 teams this coming season. Last season's runners-up Pro Athletic have gone up to Division 1 as mentioned, whilst Brendans appear to have pulled out of the league. Only the teams who finished 9th, 11th and 12th (bottom) - Beacon Hill Rovers Reserves, Dunmow Rhodes Reserves and Marconi Athletic remain.
A new team has joined called Elgar Eagles, who I cannot find any info about. Other new sides who start in Division 4 include a Reserve/'A' team from Southminster St Leonards, Gosfield United Reserves, and Silver End United Reserves.
Division 6 Champions Writtle Manor and 3rd placed Exiles both jump two divisions. From now on, Exiles now have a 'Valley Green' prefix. The teams who finished 4th, 5th 6th and 8th last season in Division 5 - Galleywood, Leigh Ramblers 'A', Focus Ferrers Reserves, and Maldon & Tiptree Athletic - are all elevated a level.

Division 5 is now the bottom Division, with 14 teams. Of the remaining Division 6 clubs, Baddow Blues (now known as Baddow Athletic), Maldon Saints, Marconi Athletic Reserves, United Chelmsford Churches Reserves, Mundon Vics Reserves, Felsted Rovers Reserves and Old Chelmsfordians 'A' stay in the bottom tier. Braintree & Bocking United Reserves remain in Division 5, having finished near the bottom last season, so in effect a relegation.
New sides joining include a Burnham Ramblers team (presumably using the back pitch?), Reserve sides for Pro Athletic, Southminster St Leonards ('A'/'B'?) and Valley Green, whilst Tillingham Hotspur plummet down to Division 6 from the top flight.
There is another new team called Royal Oak. I'm having a guess that this is something to do with the Royal Oak pub in Hazeleigh, just south of Maldon? The pub has, or had, some awards from the Mid Essex League for Real Maldon over the past few seasons, that were on display. I am guessing, if it is the same pub, they have branched off of or moved away from Real Maldon? Time will tell.
Burnham Athletic have pulled out both of their clubs (1st team from Division 5, Reserves from Division 6), City Colts, E2V Technologies and Latchingdon (along with their 1st team) Reserves have also pulled out of the league from Division 5. Laindon Orient Reserves have pulled out of (what was the bottom) Division 6, presumably to go to the Southend Borough Combination.

Will put the full constitution (in simplified form) online a little later on.
