My records go back to 1984/85. Since then they have never played in the Cup and only missed the Vase in 85/86 and 88/89. Not proof I grant you but pretty strong evidence of not having a G grade I think you would agree.

Not really much evidence at all to be honest.

The rules state there must be facilities for spectators on at least two sides. Any spectator free side must have measures in place to prevent unauthorized access Surely such grounds cannot be described as "two! or "three" sided.

The rules for Step 6 say a ground must be enclosed by a permanent fence although an exception may be made if a side adjoins private land/property.

As I said before it would be helpful to hear from anybody who has actually been there.

There are plenty of photos online.
These are from 2005 http://www.pyramidpassion.co.uk/...bridge_athletic.html. Later photos show they've put another stand up on the opposite side to the main stand. http://agroundhoppersdiary.blogspot.co.uk/...letic-park-road.html

The ground is shared with the cricket club. Looking at their fixtures, this season their first Saturday home game was on September 20th, last season it was September 28th, the season before it was September 22nd.
This is probably why they don't apply for the FA Cup. The Vase doesn't interfere with the cricket season as much - there's only one round in September vs the two in August and two in September in the Cup.
