I can't believe that the team we've been talking about, are now an AFC. That won't impress a few of the anti AFC brigade on this forum, especially at this level of football.

Bottesford have joined the North Leicestershire League Division 1

Newark Flowserve - I think it was their reserves in the Grantham League last season. The first team are in division 1 of the Notts Senior League and I can find so reserve team for them this season. The Newark Alliance is a Sunday competition.

Windy.......AFC Three Gables have been called that since they joined 3 years ago

Rambler........ Newark Flowserve have 2 teams in the Sunday league this season so they have probably gone there

Windy.......AFC Three Gables have been called that since they joined 3 years ago

Rambler........ Newark Flowserve have 2 teams in the Sunday league this season so they have probably gone there


It was meant as a tongue in cheek comment, to stir up the anti-AFC brigade. I would assume they play out of the said named Pub and took about 2 minutes to come up with a name for their team. Being mindful that the other options had already been used in previous guises.
