Oxfordshire Senior League 2014-15 Can't Post or Reply Privately

Well the last of the Step 7 leagues finally releases it constitution - but with a Premier Division of 13 teams - I presume this status will now be stripped?

Instead of doing the sensible thing the OSL have gone for a 13-9-8-8 structure, instead of 16-12-10, or even 14-14-10

Deserve to lose their Step 7 status for being so ridiculous!

Premier Division
Adderbury Park
Bletchingdon
Broughton & North Newington (promoted from Div One)
Chalgrove Cavaliers
Eynsham Association (Promoted from Div One)
Freeland
Horspath
Launton Sports
Mansfield Road
Marston Saints
Oakley United
Oxford University Press
Riverside

Division One
Charlton United
Easington Sports Reserves (new)
Garsington (relegated from Premier Division)
Great Milton
Kidlington Old Boy (promoted from Aylesbury & District League Premier Division)
Middleton Cheney
North Oxford
Northway
Yarnton

League loses Stonesfield Sports (who drop four levels to the Witney & District League Division Two) and Watlington Town (who drop a level to the North Berks League Division One).

Seems an odd decision.

Unless they are going to revise again

League also loses Kidlington Res from Division One to Hellenic Reserve / Division Two as Kiddy FC and Old Boys now have a "tie up".

Just checked the Mitoo pages, and there's been a major change in the constitution for 2014/15.

The new structure is:

Premier Division (13 teams)
Adderbury Park
Bletchingdon
Broughton & North Newington
Chalgrove Cavaliers
Eynsham Association
Freeland
Horspath
Launton Sports
Mansfield Road
Marston Saints
Oakley United
Oxford University Press
The Riverside

Division One (12 teams)
Bletchingdon Reserves (promoted from Division Two)
Charlton United
Easington Sports Reserves
Freeland Reserves (promoted from Division Two)
Garsington
Kidlington Old Boys (Have links to Kidlington in the Hellenic League, but remain their own club)
Marston Saints Reserves (promoted from Division Two)
Middleton Cheney
North Oxford
Northway Boys
Thame United A (new team)
Yarnton

Great Milton have folded

Division Two (12 teams)
Adderbury Park Reserves
Broughton & North Newington Reserves (from Division Three)
Chalgrove Cavaliers Reserves (from Division Three)
Charlton United Reserves (from Division Three)
Eynsham Association Reserves (from Division Three)
Garsington Reserves (from Division Three)
Horspath Reserves (from Division Three)
Mansfield Road Reserves
North Oxford Reserves
Oakley United Reserves
Oxford University Press Reserves (from Division Three)
Yarnton Reserves (from Division Three)

Middleton Cheney A appear to have folded.

Re: [FCUtdWill] Oxfordshire Senior League 2014-15 [In reply to] Can't Post or

Thought it strange that Great Milton had appeared in the OSL, I think at some point that was the idea but reading their social media and the Aylesbury League site it appears the 1st XI from last season have left the club and the reserves have become the 1st team playing in the Aylesbury & District nether regions

Middleton Cheney have a team in the top division of the BD&LJ, though they do not use a reserve suffix.

Thank you for your information about Great Milton, they're currently playing in Division Four of the Aylesbury & District League.

I searched for Middleton Cheney on Find-A-Club where they're listed as their reserves, similar to Woodford United, they don't have their reserve suffix either.
