Annual General Meeting on 30th June 2014-07-01

First of all big welcome to six new clubs to our league and that makes 99 clubs in all.

We greet:

Guiseley Juniors
Horsforth St Margaretís (Two teams)
Kippax Athletic FROM SELBY LEAGUE
Methley Utd (Two teams) FIRST TEAM FROM WAKEFIELD LEAGUE
Rothwell (Two teams) FIRST TEAM FROM WAKEFIELD LEAGUE
Wortley FROM WAKEFIELD LEAGUE


We now have 99 teams and we have lost Gildersome Spurs OB first team that has moved to the West Riding County Amateur League and after a long losing battle East Ardsley Wanderers Reserves. (FC TADCASTER HAVE ALSO GONE, AS WELL AS CALVERLEY UNITED RES AND TWO OF OLD MODERNIANS SIDES)


On the other hand we are delighted to announce that new teams from existing clubs have also joined us and they are Morley Town III, Farsley Celtic Reserves, Churwell Lions Res, Leeds City OB III, Rodillian Res (ex Selby League) and Shire Academics III.

The title for our Divisions had changed in as much as we now have a Premier Division and a Championship and these replace Senior A and Senior B. We have also added one Division and the Divisions are now ranked one to six.

Thus the format of each division after an animated debate is as follows:

Wortley are indeed the missing team from Division Two

FC Tadcaster have 'merged' with Rodillian
Calverley United Reserves folded during the latter part of last season
Old Modernians scrapped two sides as part of their club 'restructuring'
