Kington Town are now in Division 2 of the West Midlands Regional League.

Malvern Vale (last season they groundshared with Malvern Rangers) have come from the Worcester & District League, which now has no Saturday division.

Not looked what else was left in Worcester Saturday League but presume they will go to Cheltenham League and Stratford Alliance, to be fair I had wondered at one point last season if it had gone as Upton and Hadley Swan were in the Cheltenham League

Shame to see another league effectively disappear.

According to Malvern Vale's website their first team will be in the Cheltenham League and they will have a reserve side in the Herefordshire League.

Re the Worcester League this is an extract from the Secretary's Annual report

http://worcesterleague.com/news.php?weekly=0

However last season will be remembered more than anything for the demise of the Saturday League after 120 years of football. This had been coming for some time and it really was no surprise when we had to make the decision to end Saturday football. We started the season with just ten teams, one dropped out during the season and a further five clubs expressed a desire not to continue at the end of the season. Itís not just the Worcester League thatís suffering, the Kidderminster League took a similar decision and despite the efforts of the County FA, the proposed new Saturday County League didnít manage to get off the ground either. Why donít players want to play on Saturday afternoons locally anymore? - various reasons have been put forward, including lack of commitment and motivation from players, greater leisure options, the rising costs of playing, poor facilities and a reluctance to get involved in running teams with some stalwarts of the local game saying Ďenoughís enoughí. Whatever the reasons, letís hope that these things go in cycles and that sometime in the near future, local Saturday afternoon will return.

Leintwardine, Tenbury Colts and Ross Juniors Res have left the league

Leintwardine on fa full time in div 3

Find Malvern Vale a bit odd, saying their first team will be in Cheltenham div 6 but their res in Herefs 3

Following the departure of a number of players from the club Weobley requested relegation from the Premier Division as they did not feel they could be competitive at that level. They were originally placed in division 1 but have requested a further demotion and will compete this season in division 2.

Fownhope Reserves are promoted from division 2 to division 1.
