Wearside League Can't Post or Reply Privately

No new teams elected. It seems that former clubs Windscale and Hylton applied, but were turned down as teams didn't want to increase the league to 22.

They lose champions Ryhope CW to the Northern League, and in theory should gain a club coming in the opposite direction - either Esh Winning (bottom of Northern Lge) or Whitehaven (ground criteria). Of course, if any Northern League clubs who don't have financial problems find that these non-existent issues force them to pull out, this could have a knock-on effect that leaves the Wearside League down to 19 clubs.

Gateshead Leam Rangers, Horden Colliery Welfare, Redcar Athletic and Wolviston are also in the league, giving a total of 20 teams.

Gateshead Leam Rangers and Wolviston were involved in the league cup competition at the weekend, Horden CW and Redcar Athletic didn't play any games.

Why don't they show them as having played 0 games? How to confuse a person of small brain and literal mind like myself!

It's the way the website is set up, they put the results in and make the league table out of that. They show up on the clubs directory though.
